Every stage type—from flat sprint stages and mountain battles to cobbled races and individual time trials—uses its own mechanics, ensuring that every race unfolds differently.
The Base Game offers an accessible simulation focused on stage victories and the overall classification, while the Advanced Game adds further depth with intermediate sprints, mountain and sprint classifications, and additional tactical decisions, including the use of Helpers.
